Your Key Responsibilities- Oversee the provision of central support services to VAQ business units in the areas of financial processing, human resources, and general administrative support.- Provide advice to VAQ business units on financial and human resource processes in accordance with relevant legislation and directives.- Oversee the coordination of branch budget builds and financial monitoring and forecasting.- Maintain key establishment information for the VAQ executive leadership team, including the VAQ organisational chart.- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the central support services provided to VAQ business units through efficient and effective processes and systems.- Prepare financial and human resources briefing notes, including in relation to the exercise of financial and human resource delegations.- Participate in branch meetings as required.- Undertake other duties as directed.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability- Manages a team providing effective guidance, coaching, and mentoring.- Detailed knowledge of financial and human resource processes, delegations, and directives.- Performs well in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.- Identifies and implements business improvement initiatives.- Maintains contacts and networks with internal stakeholders.- Writes concise and accurate correspondence.- Contributes to workplace equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
