About the opportunity

The Melbourne University Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology are seeking and enthusiastic and experienced Midwife to lead and manage the Clinical Midwife Research team.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Post Graduate qualifications in midwifery or research highly regarded
Good Clinical Practice certificate for all research staff – essential or working towards
Strong interest and commitment in research
Good communicator and team member
Basic computer skills, and experience with REDCap data entry system desirable
Laboratory experience desirable

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
