Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Coordinate human and physical resources within the centre to ensure operations are aligned with relevant standards and policies, community expectations and enduser needs.- Support the Operations Manager in the development and implementation of governance frameworks and policies to facilitate the delivery of high-quality Policing Services during normal operations, major investigations, major events, and disasters.- Analyse trends in relation to operational and resource demands and provide advice to the Operations Manager, regarding future resource needs.- Implement strategies to achieve goals, standards and performance indicators for the operational units under your control and provide leadership to unit supervisors.- Develop and initiate strategies to address or enhance operational performance and productivity across the operational units under your control.- Cultivate relationships and effective communication with key stakeholders and service providers both internal and external to Policelink.- Maintain oversight and manage staff absence for all operational civilian staff within the Contact Centre under your control.- Manage and resolve performance issues with staff and union representatives, including giving and receiving feedback and conducting constructive performance discussions.
