Your opportunity:
Manage and coordinate Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service (WBHHS) core medico - legal functions, and ensure the establishment and maintenance of practices, which promote organisational accountability and transparency.
Provide high level advice to the WBHHS Chief Executive, Executive Management Team and WBHH Board specifically related to legal risk management, medico-legal issues, coronial matters, administrative law matters, contractual and compliance issues within the WBHHS.
Provide the WBHHS with a high quality, and effectively functioning, legal risk management program which includes legal compliance and management.
Provide ongoing in-service and education to health service professionals relating to legal risk management matters.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 16th September 2024 for three months with the possibility of extension
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $14,739 p.m., comprising salary between $5,615.70 - $5,942.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (PO6) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from 16th September 2024 for three months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
