Property Operations Technician (fitter)
Gold Coast

Our Property Operations team is currently looking for an experienced Fitter. As a Fitter, you are responsible for ensuring Plant and Equipment is functioning in a manner that is in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Duties may include working in various locations on site including the kitchens and our inhouse Laundry.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Perform specialised trades maintenance throughout The Star property as per triaged Maximo log
- Maintain inventory of tools, materials and equipment
- Support other trade technicians in the team with their respective work
- Trouble shoot and provide expert advice in the event of incidents that occur on equipment
- Engineering trade certification with relevant experience
- Previous experience with repair and maintenance of commercial processing plant and equipment
- A customer first approach, with a positive disposition
- A good understanding of Food Safety legislation and community safety
- Experience with Stainless Steel Welding and Fabrication (highly regarded)
- Previous experience in the maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (highly regarded)
- A valid Gas Work Licence (Type A& B) (highly regarded)
