- Base Salary Range: $68,478 - $102,240 p.a
- In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Service:
Allied and Community Health Service
Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:
Step into a rewarding role as a Regional Podiatrist (AHP2), where you'll master the art of diagnosing and treating diverse foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions. From crafting personalized care plans for routine foot care to tackling complex issues like diabetic foot complications and sports injuries, you'll be dedicated to enhancing mobility and foot health.
In this role, you'll harness your advanced clinical skills to deliver a comprehensive range of foot and ankle services tailored to our community's unique needs. Enjoy the autonomy to shape your clinical practice while mentoring and guiding allied health professionals, assistants, and students. As a key player in a dynamic healthcare team, you'll collaborate across sectors, applying preventive, early intervention, and treatment strategies to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and advance overall foot health.
Under the guidance of a seasoned podiatrist (AHP1), you'll play a key role in providing a broad spectrum of health services customized for the local community. As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you'll apply preventive, early intervention, and treatment strategies to deliver comprehensive care. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on community health by delivering integrated and effective podiatric services.

About You:
- Must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
- Provide a broad range of clinical services, selecting, adopting and applying methods, procedures and standards which are generally well established and straight forward.
- Exercise professional judgment within prescribed areas, with support from a Clinical Senior to verify methods and results.
- Provide straight forward clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities.
- Manage and prioritise personal workload.
- Apply professional expertise, developing generalist/specialist knowledge, clinical competence and experience to provide professional services to client groups in circumstances requiring increasingly complex practice skills.
- Exercise professional judgment in the selection and adaptation of established methods, procedures, and techniques within the profession.
- May provide a broad range of clinical and consultative services across a range of service settings, including one-on-one, group based and health promotion activities.
- Manage and prioritise personal workload and support others in developing workload management plans, including in the allocation of team resources.
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
