We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef & Kitchen All-rounder to support our kitchen team at 3.8 Baysie, a local eatery serving the vibrant Bayswater community.
If you love crafting exciting seasonal dishes using locally sourced ingredients and want to be part of a community-driven eatery, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re known for our creative dishes like the chilli peanut scrambled bun, serving up morning coffee, baked treats, and expanding into dinner service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating seasonal menus that excite and nourish our local community
- Support the fast-paced takeaway and short-order section
- Help with stock control, weekly orders, and ensuring kitchen compliance
- Work alongside the team to consistently deliver high standards
- Full-time, 38 hours/week with sociable hours (weekend availability essential)
- We’re open Wed-Sun for breakfast & lunch, and Thurs-Sat for dinner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
