About the role

The primary role of the Support Worker is client and stakeholder engagement within Red Cross Programs by ensuring the volunteer work force is utilised in the most efficient and effective manner whilst supporting the delivery of vital services and program operations.

About you

You will demonstrate:

• Ability to work under general supervision, autonomously and as part of a team within a matrix structure
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time frames
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with people with from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients & volunteers within community services sector
• Ability to resolve conflict and work related problems by exercising judgement and initiative within defined policies and practices
• Ability to follow and implement frameworks, policies, procedures, work instructions, guidelines and standards
• Organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional service level standards in the delivery of best practice principles
• Records management and general office administration skills

Compliance Requirements

A valid Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement for this role. A current Drivers Licence is preferred.

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Salary from $37.36000 hourly + casual loading + superannuation + access to salary packaging options.
