The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Security Engineer to join our Information Technology department. This pivotal role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data centre management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet business needs.

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Security Engineer to join our Information Technology department. This pivotal role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data centre management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet business needs.
- We value face-to-face collaboration and require this role to be based in the office five days a week to foster stronger connections and enhance teamwork among colleagues. Currently located in North Sydney, we are excited to announce our relocation to either Rhodes or Paramatta by 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Management:
- Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality, secure infrastructure/software solutions.
- Collaborate with various teams to design and build data centre and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Support existing systems to ensure maximum uptime and promote business continuity. Conduct rigorous monitoring and analysis to ensure system efficiency and validity.
Security Management:
- Design, deploy, and support security features in line with Invo Care’s Cybersecurity Roadmap.
- Engage with vendors to ensure operational continuity of key security platforms.
- Manage and resolve security-related issues, ensuring alignment with best practices. Compliance and Risk Management:
Incident Management:
- Respond to and resolve systems and security incidents promptly. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Project Management:
- Lead IT and security projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. Collaborate with departments to meet IT needs and recommend technological improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure support or Dev Ops roles.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory, and key server technology.
- Strong expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, SDWAN) and security technologies (firewalls, EDR).
- Proven experience in Cloud Services and Data Centre technologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Technology or related discipline; certifications such as CISSP, and CISM are highly desirable. A proactive, self-driven contributor with strong problem-solving abilities.
