The Data Engineer & Production Support Analyst will work closely with the Data Architect and Operationalisation Technical Lead to support the final stages of delivery for the Privileged Technical Account (PTA) Inventory, which involves source system files and API data transformed and loaded into a SQL Server Database, with reporting facilitated via Microsoft Power BI. Initially, you will join the Privileged Access Management (PAM) project team, focusing on building, testing, documenting, and deploying the PTA Production infrastructure.
Once the PTA Inventory goes live, the role will transition into supporting the warranty period and then join the IDAM Infrastructure Operations squad to perform Level 2/3 production support, ensuring a smooth handover to the operational team. This hands-on role requires a keen focus on security, process optimization, and continuous improvement within the wider IDAM data model.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, test, document, and deploy the PTA Production infrastructure, ensuring alignment with Euroclear's project governance and regulatory requirements.
Provide production support during the warranty period and beyond, joining the IDAM Infrastructure Operations team to handle Level 2/3 support.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to design secure, optimized solutions for the PTA Inventory.
Create technical documentation, including High-Level Technical Designs, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Functional/Technical Designs.
Ensure the solution undergoes comprehensive testing and sign-offs from internal customers.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to the IDAM Infrastructure Operations team, including the creation of a "cook book" for solution operations.
Identify and escalate security risks during the analysis and design phases, ensuring all risks are documented for senior stakeholders.
Make recommendations for process improvements, controls, and automation.
Work on related projects that may have dependencies on the PTA Inventory, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Engineering using tools like ERWIN.
2-3 years of experience with Power Shell for task/process automation in Windows environments.
2-3 years of experience with SQL Server, especially in developing and maintaining stored procedures for Privileged Technical Account data.
3-5 full product lifecycle launches, including warranty support and handover to operational teams.
1+ years of operational production support (Level 2/3), with experience using Service Now or similar ticketing technologies.
Technical Skills:
Experience with data dictionary, lineage, and management tools ([*****], Collibra).
Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
Knowledge of operating platforms including Windows, Unix, and Network systems.
Experience with Power BI for data reporting and dashboards.
Understanding of security mechanisms across various platforms (Windows, Linux, z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.).
Knowledge of scheduling tools for task automation.
Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes ([*****], PTA recertification).
Certifications:
Certifications in CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are a plus.
Interpersonal & Soft Skills:
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate to achieve goals.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with a structured approach to problem-solving.
Adaptable to working in a dynamic environment with evolving service needs.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of developing high-quality solutions under minimal supervision.
Languages: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
