Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• Knowledge and experience in the nature of the tasks and activities of the Service;
• Courteous and professional in dealing with NATO and Purchaser’s staff;
• Ability to diagnose issues related to COTS applications, proficiency in installing and configuring, integration with exiting system, ensuring seamless operations.

Desirable:

• Certification in ITIL Foundation.

Duties/role:

• Developing, improving, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting scripts in the following technologies using primarily Power Shell and Windows scripting languages (VBScript, batch scripting):
• Active Directory (AD);
• Group Policy Management (GPOs);
• SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager);
• Trellix;
• Network / DHCP;
• Application COTS Troubleshooting;
• Windows 10/11 Troubleshooting;
• Remote Protocols.
• Automating incident detection, logging, and escalation. Using scripts to resolve issues quickly and collaborate with the incident management team to improve response times;
• Demonstrating understanding of ITIL concepts and best practices - Apply ITIL best practices to automate incident, problem, and change management tasks, improving efficiency and aligning automation with ITIL service management standards.
