The Opportunity

We are actively recruiting a Head of Treasury for Worldline Belgium (NV. SA), which is a leading payment services provider in Belgium.
On top of traditional Treasury activities (bank account and bank relation management, funding, management of the cashpool, monitoring of corporate payments and funding), the Treasury team is closely involved in the company's core business, as it manages the dedicated bank accounts and funding setup for the payment activity of the entity. In addition to that, Worldline Belgium owns several other payment institutions across Europe.
The Head of Treasury is therefore a critical position to support our business and monitor its financial performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Initiating initial discussions with potential new customers and other stakeholders with the eco system (partners, resellers, …) and generate new business opportunities
Management of 4-people Treasury team, in charge of managing company’s funds, as well as organization of daily liquidity management of acquiring clearing and settlement process for Worldline's merchant services activity
Oversight of the execution of FX and related hedging, cash and inter-entity transactions from Treasury and banking systems
Develop and maintain professional relationships with banks and coordinate bank KYC procedures
Oversight of cash forecast and monthly cash flow reporting activity with the support of Worldline's Shared Service Center
Liquidity monitoring and development - Review, negotiate, amend or renew credit facilities such as financing, bank guarantee and any other financing solutions as appropriate
Actively participate in various business and finance transformation projects, both at local and Group level, or support some of the team members active in those projects
Supervise the opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts and signature levels, and maintain the Treasury's internal control framework
Support, develop and train team members
Liaise with Accounting colleagues on Treasury accounting topics

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

Between 5 and 7 years experience in Treasury minimum. Knowledge card payment industry is a plus
Personal skills : flexible, open-minded, problem solving ability, team leader, can work independently, good communication skills, collaborative mindset
Language skills : fluent in English (writing and orally) is absolutely necessary; French and Dutch (at least orally) is a plus
IT skills : very good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables), Power Point and other Office tools; knowledge of TMS, SAP, Swift Net and bank connectivity tools; command of Kyriba and FX All is a plus
Leadership and ability to share experience, train, develop team members
