Role Overview:
As the Lead Data Engineer for the Id AM 2.0 Programme - Data Cluster, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Data Architect to deliver multiple projects focused on designing, developing, testing, and launching data-related features that enhance the Id AM 2.0 solution, including Identify Fabric and Privileged Technical Account Inventory. This hands-on role requires building and managing database objects, extracting/loading data from SQL Server using Power Shell, ETL tooling (IBM Datastage), and API calls.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Modeling & Documentation:
Create and document an integrated end-to-end Id AM data model ensuring consistency, integrity, and automation across the Id AM ecosystem. Utilize standard templates for High-Level Technical Designs, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Functional Designs, obtaining necessary approvals.
Solution Development:
Build solutions in test environments, conducting thorough testing and obtaining sign-offs from internal stakeholders. Ensure smooth handover to the Id AM Infrastructure Operations team, providing training, documentation, and ongoing support.
Security Focus:
Identify and address security risks during the analysis and design phases. Proactively communicate potential risks to senior stakeholders and suggest enhancements.
Collaboration & Problem Solving:
Work alongside various project teams to understand requirements and design optimal, secure solutions. Maintain a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
Compliance Awareness:
Recognize the regulatory environment of Euroclear and ensure that all designs and implementations meet compliance needs.
Skills and Experience:
Data Engineering Expertise:
5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Engineering, with proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERWIN).
Power Shell & SQL Proficiency:
5+ years of experience using Power Shell for task automation in Windows environments and SQL expertise (especially with SQL Server) for writing and maintaining stored procedures.
ETL & Data Management:
Experience with ETL tools (IBM Datastage preferred) and data dictionary/lineage management tools (e.g., Collibra).
Software Development Lifecycle:
Involvement in at least 5 full software development lifecycle product launches, including warranty support.
Additional Knowledge:
Familiarity with various database technologies (e.g., Oracle), operational support practices, and security mechanisms across platforms.
Interpersonal/Soft Skills:
Strong teamwork and communication abilities, with a focus on customer requirements.
Proactive, autonomous, and problem-oriented mindset.
Ability to adapt to continuous changes and deliver high-quality solutions under varying circumstances.
Language Requirements:
English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Pay: €3.500,00 - €6.500,00 per month
