SHE Coordinator (preventieadviseur niveau 1)

- Responsible for the prevention policy and safety culture at Yusen Logistics BE;
- Implement a welfare policy and monitor the health and safety of employees;
- Responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the safety and environmental procedures, instructions and preventive regulations within the different sites in Belgium (North and South);
- Looking for and implementing solutions together with our stakeholders;
- Performing systematic risk analyses of the working environment and translate these into preventive measures and (corrective) actions;
- Responsible for the training policy regarding employee safety awareness;
- Representation of QSHE in project teams;
- Head of the crisis team in case of calamities;
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Bachelors’ or master's degree and a "Prevention Advisor Level 1" certificate;
- Project management qualification or relevant experience preferred;
- Demonstrates openness to new ideas;
- comes up with useful ideas to improve the way we do things;
- A problem-solving mind-set and a strong sense of self-initiative in order to improve the working culture and deliver the projects with a high quality standard;
- A "roll up your sleeves" type who communicates easily;
- Develops relationships with stakeholders (external and internal), demonstrates good listening and negotiation skills;
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and English; French is a plus
- Knowledge or experience with ISO45001 is a strong advantage;
- Willingness to travel between different sites.
