UCB is seeking a new talent who is full of energy, positive mindset, extremely curious and outcome-driven and team player graduate to join the Graduate Development Program in Patient Impact Procurement EU Team, located in Brussels, Belgium.

About the program



This is a structured development program designed to kickstart your career and allow you to grow both personally and professionally, while making an impact in the organization.



The Graduate Development Program in Patient Impact Procurement EU Team, is a 1-year rotational program consisting of 2 rotations of 6 months across Sourcing and Data Acquisiton & Market Research Category Management. Through this program, you will be exposed to different departments and gain practical, hands-on experience that will allow you to build a strong foundation to pursue a career in procurement while expanding your understanding of a global business.



You will gain knowledge and develop skills in a dynamic, multifaceted setting where you will navigate short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives. This dynamic and diverse setting will offer you new opportunities and challenges each day, ensuring that no two days are the same.



Your first rotation will be in Sourcing

  • Develop impactful communication decks for new procurement organization
  • Identify stakeholder needs to continuously educate, train them about procurement involvement rules
  • Set up reporting/advanced analytics for monitoring procurement involvement, satisfaction level in this category. Engage with Co E (Center of Excellence) team from idea generation to execution.


Your next rotation(s) will be Category Management

  • Contribute to category strategy paper development with Data Acquisition & Market Research Team
  • Manage sourcing activities in this category that is an amazing opportunity to experience fundamental role of procurement
  • Set up reporting/advanced analytics for monitoring procurement involvement, satisfaction level in this category. Engage with Co E (Center of Excellence) team from idea generation to execution.

Finally, you will also be part of UCB Early Talent community and connect with other graduates across the organization through learning and development sessions, networking, and social activities.



What you’ll learn



Throughout the 1-year program, you will be assigned to different projects and teams that will allow you to develop essential skills including problem-solving, presentation, continuous improvement, communication, stakeholder management, etc.



Although you will receive support and guidance throughout the program, we expect you to take ownership of your development and actively contribute not only to your own growth but also to the collective success of the team.



Interested? We are looking for:


  • Recently graduated in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, or similar relevant field.
  • Less than 2 years relevant work experience
  • Impactful communication (fluent in English), storytelling, digital-savvy, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Emotional intelligence, high learning agility, critical thinking and creativity with a highly ethical behavior.
  • Fostering diversity and inclusion, capable of operating in cross-functional, multi-lingual, cultural teams
  • Outcome and experience-driven, accountability and pride in performance and its impact on company’s success.


Practical information


  • Start date: we are looking for graduates able to start full-time from 1st January 2025. Flexibility can be considered based on the candidates’ availability.
  • Right to work: candidates must have the right to work in Belgium to be eligible for the program.
