We are in the process of hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Rosedale, British Columbia. This role primarily involves managing accounts payable and assisting the finance team with various tasks. The role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of around 100 to 130 invoices per month
• Provide assistance to the finance team as needed
• Undertake reconciliation activities as part of the finance function
• Engage in data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various finance-related tasks
• Serve as a backup for the payroll process when required
• Monitor and manage customer accounts
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in invoice processing and management
• Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
