We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Markham, Ontario. This role involves managing and processing customer applications, ensuring accurate records, and resolving any customer inquiries. The position also requires monitoring customer accounts and taking action when necessary. This is a long-term contract role in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle customer credit applications
• Ensure customer credit records are accurate and up-to-date
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Actively monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP
• Actively contribute to the team and work collaboratively with others
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service
• Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections is essential
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections is required
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP are imperative
• Ability to work in a team and independently is needed
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work is needed
