Terus Construction, a Division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is looking to hire Equipment Operators based in Revelstoke, BC.

Duties/Tasks

Operate equipment on public roadways, maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings
Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate, and refill the equipment as necessary
Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
Must be willing to travel and work out town occasionally when required or necessary.

Requirements

Have a Class 5 Driver License
Pass a Drug Test
Experience operating equipment in construction areas is preferred.
Ability to perform manual labor.
Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
Work overtime as required.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
