Human Resource Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team for a 3 month contract. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in human resources management systems, and a passion for fostering employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and Technical Support to District Manager and Unit Managers
- Complete daily weekly and monthly district operations reports
- Liaise with various departments and levels of management
- Investigate and answer customer complaints and inquiries
- Accounts payable·
- Purchasing and office equipment maintenance ·
- Coordinate administration functions and presentations ·
- Develop and prepare daily weekly monthly administration bulletins
- Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
- Strong Computer skills - MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset
- Previous experience working in a unionized environment is beneficial
- Knowledge and application of BI & Qlik View programs
- Minimum 60 w.p.m.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
Pay: $27.55 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
- Monday to Friday
- Human resources: 1 year (required)
