Human Resource Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team for a 3 month contract. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in human resources management systems, and a passion for fostering employee engagement.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and Technical Support to District Manager and Unit Managers
  • Complete daily weekly and monthly district operations reports
  • Liaise with various departments and levels of management
  • Investigate and answer customer complaints and inquiries
  • Accounts payable·
  • Purchasing and office equipment maintenance ·
  • Coordinate administration functions and presentations ·
  • Develop and prepare daily weekly monthly administration bulletins
Experience
  • Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
  • Strong Computer skills - MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment is beneficial
  • Knowledge and application of BI & Qlik View programs
  • Minimum 60 w.p.m.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation - ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.55 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
  • French not required
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
