This position reports to
Business Manager - Commercial&Operations
Your role and responsibilities
• Promote ABB PAEN APL+ Digital technologies in Chemical, Pharma and engergy transition industries • Identify the roadmap of product portfolios matching market segmentation in Chemical, Pharma and engergy transition industries. • Develop proper offerings with right value proposition, fitting to customer pain points, market segment needs and support sales to sell. • Works with industry stakeholders, associations and collaborators to define proper go to market strategy, join market events, screening potential market Kay customer relationship management. • Ensures the development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. • Evaluates market opportunities and decides on appropriate activities in line with the strategy. • Develops and manages the products, solutions, systems, and/or service portfolio continuously to achieve and secure market leadership. • Defines portfolio roadmap: product and solution streamlining, acquisition targets for portfolio synergies, and development opportunities. • Ensures profitable business growth in the identified markets through optimized production and supply chain footprints and competitive distribution and go-to-market strategy. • Monitors strategic quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement in local execution, and oversees improvement activities. • Ensures the execution of portfolio projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results, and customer satisfaction. • Oversees relevant local Research and Development initiatives, as applicable.Qualifications for the role
- Minimum of 12 years of sales management, business development or product management experience in Chemical, Pharma industries.
- Have rich experience of business strategy planning and of making solid plan to ensure high quality deliv-ery.
- Rich experience with national account and enterprise customers.
- Rich experience in major industries like refinery/ petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Power Generation etc. industries in China
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; both spoken and written
