Product Specialist for molecular biology products

We are a successful biotech startup with unique products in four business segments: human molecular diagnostics (IVD), enzymes and reagents for life-science, monoclonal antibody development and drug discovery services.
If you want to make an impact on the success of our new products on the market, join us as a Product Specialist for either IVD diagnostics (PCR kits for detection of viral/bacterial infections or genetic diseases) or molecular biology products (enzymes and kits for PCR and other methods) and services (oligonucleotide synthesis) and help us to promote our innovative products to different types of customers and support our global expansion.
What will be your responsibilities?
We are a successful biotech startup with unique products and global ambitions. We have four main research and business segments: human molecular diagnostics, PCR reagents for life sciences, monoclonal antibodies and small molecule drug discovery. In all these segments we are bringing unique products to the global market.
We are both research oriented and successful in business. Our products are based on internal cutting-edge multidisciplinary research. We also actively seek for new market opportunities, and in past years we have thus become the largest developer and manufacturer of COVID-19 PCR diagnostics in the Czech Republic. We are now continuing our mission of providing our own products in multiple different biotechnological areas.
Even though we started the company just in 2018, we have already grown to over 100 employees. From the beginning, we aim to run long-term, ambitious projects with a global impact. What will be your responsibilities?
- Develop content that will support sales and usage of products in your portfolio. Collaborate closely with R&D, sales and marketing teams.
- Create marketing materials (online and offline) and technical product notes.
- Perform market research, analyze competitive landscape and help to differentiate our product offering.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, sales data and feedback from the distributors and final customers to refine our marketing strategies.
- Support R&D team in product optimization and expansion of product pipeline.
- Participate in presentations and industry conferences.
- Finished Master’s degree in life-science field.
- Good knowledge of molecular biology or clinical diagnostics methods.
- Interest in product marketing (previous experience in product marketing, business development or application support is an advantage).
- Good analytical skills. Ability to synthesize complex information into concise messaging.
- Good writing skills. Graphic skills are a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment, collaborative mindset.
- Excellent English (B2 or higher), Czech is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Full-time employment contract with the place of work in Vestec near Prague.
