In Green Fuels we are a dynamic, international, and innovative team that delivers a wide range of engineering services to clients. Our highly motivated and skilled colleagues have brought us to a market-leading position within biomass, waste-to-energy, green fuels, Power-to-X, and carbon capture and we need you to be part of our growth journey!
As Head of Green Fuels Mechanical, your most important responsibility will be to lead, develop, and engage your team of approximately 20 colleagues located in various offices in Denmark but with the majority placed in Lyngby, where the position is anchored. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team within biomass, waste to energy, green fuels, and carbon capture with seniority ranging from Student Assistant to Project Director. As part of your daily work, you will have close sparring with your peer leaders who work within line management, technical, and project leadership.
Your key responsibilities will be:

Carrying out the department action plan and strategy within your discipline,
Setting clear targets for performance and individual development of your employees
Day-to-day people management, recruitment, and onboarding activities as needed
Lead/support project teams for the undertaking of projects
Provide technical leadership on projects and facilitate standardization of tasks in your team
Providing input to staff workload planning
Implementation, integration, and development of digital strategies, tools, and systems

A relevant degree, preferably in engineering
Reasonable experience in a relevant role, e.g. within the biomass, process, petrochemical or waste-to-energy sector
Experience from other consultancy or supplier companies is advantageous, but not required
Leadership experience from a matrix organisation is advantageous, but not required
