About your future role
You’ll be part of the specialist commercial team in Group e Commerce. Our mission is to serve our high-value e Commerce clients with genuine world-class innovative, reliable, and secure digital payment solutions in key complex specialist verticals
As Customer Enablement Manager, you’ll join a small, dynamic, independent team. You will be accountable for helping the Head of Customer Enablement manage our clients in our specialist vertical industries. You must have knowledge of our specialized verticals and their ecosystem and the general needs of these merchants including Enterprise Digital Clients, Regulated Gaming, Crypto Exchanges, Subscription, Financial & Fintech, and Delayed Delivery Services. Liaising with our core Operation, Risk, Compliance, and Integration teams to ensure our clients are onboarded promptly and correctly. You will also be involved in our rollout to other Nexi Countries, Regions, and Platforms including Italy, Poland, and the DACH region. While we are a small core team, we are supported by a much larger virtual team across the group. Therefore, the ability to communicate effectively, advocate for our goals, and influence these teams toward adopting a customer-first approach is essential.
This is an amazing opportunity to join a newly formed division within Nexi Group from the beginning, with huge potential to help grow the business to meet our aggressive but realistic sales targets throughout 2024 and beyond.
Location: Denmark (Ballerup), Italy (Milan), Germany (Eschborn).
- Mapping and enhancing existing or creating new end-to-end onboarding processes.
- White Glove our initial clients through the onboarding process to establish BAU processes.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders including Sales, Pricing, LAKA Onboarding Teams, Risk and Compliance, Reporting, and Customer Service to ensure our clients have a seamless experience and any handovers between the teams are understood.
- Working closely with all departments to ensure agreed SLAs are developed and met.
- Working on product and operational tools to enhance the client experience.
- Suggest and run specialist tactical and strategic projects as needed.
- Ensure platform partners or aggregators are well serviced and onboarding SLA and reporting timelines are met.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
- Strong experience in onboarding clients, especially in our Specialist Verticals
- Experience in building a slick onboarding process from the ground up
- Proven track record of overachieving KPI and goals.
- Demonstrated passion for new technology businesses.
- Ability to understand complex compliance and risk arrangements outside standard onboarding processes
- Strong grasp on partner commercial models and ability to think laterally
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders within a payment organization, instilling a ‘can do’ tenacious attitude.
- Strong results in helping achieve commercial goals, and ability to work analytically.
- Excellent customer-first mindset and commercial acumen, with the ability to nurture relationships and help them grow.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously, interact and operate excellently within a small team of experts distributed throughout Europe, and willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of IC++ pricing, Gateway, and APMs.
- MS Office, Salesforce, and CRM systems experience.
- Fluent in English. Skills in other main European languages are desirable.
