About the job
As a Splunk Data Specialist, you will manage the data pipeline on our platform, developing and maintaining Linux and Python scripts to automate data collection and processing tasks. You will apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.
Your role will include performing Splunk data and system administration tasks to manage indexes, optimize searches, and ensure system performance. Additionally, you will connect to network devices to retrieve data, requiring robust networking skills and the ability to establish stable connectivity. Utilizing Splunk’s Search Processing Language (SPL) and its machine learning capabilities, you will create complex searches, reports, and dashboards.
Collaboration with various business stakeholders is essential, requiring communication skills to translate technical details into business insights.

About the job
As a Splunk Data Specialist, you will manage the data pipeline on our platform, developing and maintaining Linux and Python scripts to automate data collection and processing tasks. You will apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.

About you
The ideal candidate for the Splunk Data Specialist position is someone who combines technical expertise with great interest for collaboration and continuous learning. We seek an individual who thrives in an international team environment and is committed to delivering solutions for our customers. A genuine sense of responsibility and a customer-centric mindset are essential.
Educationally, the candidate should have a Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field, such as Computer Science, or Machine Learning. You should be proficient in developing and maintaining Linux and Python scripts, applying AI and machine learning techniques, and using Splunk’s Search Processing Language (SPL) for complex searches, reports, and dashboards. Networking skills are also necessary for connectivity establishment and data ingestion.
Experience-wise, the candidate should have at least two years of working with Splunk in a data-intensive environment, with relevant Splunk certifications being an advantageous qualification. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C, or Java Script is advantageous. Familiarity with the SAFe way of working is beneficial.
