Battery Mechanical modeling and design engineer

YOU’LL WORK ON:
You will work on developing new designs of structural elements and fixations for battery packs to be utilized at the heart of e-mobility solutions as well as to accelerate the adoption of e-mobility. You will follow through from specification and standards’ requirements to advanced stages of the product. Based on the performance requirement, you would ensure comprehensive qualification and validation of the design, work alongside production and quality teams to ensure that scaled up products meet required specifications, and address inadequate product performance if necessary.

YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
- Designing structural elements, housings and fixations for drivetrain elements in electric vehicles (Battery packs, motors, controllers.. etc)
- Verifying that you designs satisfy customer, product, and standards requirements
- Perform static and dynamic stress analysis as well as modeling of impact dynamics on design parts
- Collaborating closely with the team for prototyping and testing your systems and making adjustments as needed from initial research and proof of concept to development of the final product version.
- Success:
- A mechanical engineer or mechatronics engineer with 2-5 years of experience.
- Someone with a proven record of experience in mechanical modeling and simulations
- Someone with experience in modeling and validation against automotive requirements regarding impacts
- A self-initiator who is naturally energized by new ideas and insights from others, able to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time.
- Up-to date on latest technologies to continue to accelerate in-house technology development that will provide benefits in the ways of safety, reliability and cost
