Senior IT System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain a highly available IT infrastructure. This role requires expertise in configuring and troubleshooting critical systems such as MS Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
You will oversee day-to-day systems administration, implement security patches, manage disaster recovery plans, and
ensure optimal performance of servers and network systems.

- Day-to-day operations of the systems including systems administration, monitoring, and storage performance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot MS Active Directory, Group policies, DNS, DHCP, Print service, and IIS.
- Design, implement, and support a highly-available infrastructure of Microsoft Windows, VMware v Sphere, and Hyper-V servers.
- Deploy hotfixes, Rollup updates, and security patches regularly.
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot a v Sphere infrastructure including Servers' Hardware.
- Install and configure MS SCCM, SCOM, and SCVMM.
- Manage MS Exchange Mailboxes.
- Participate in projects to implement new backup or storage technologies.
- Install and manage Endpoint protection solutions.
- Configure MS cluster, Network card Teaming, and NLBs.
- Responsible for Windows server's disaster recovery plans.
- Assess new technologies and apply industry best practices and methodologies to operations activities.
- Take the lead in resolving operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement necessary corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
- Updating the technical documentation for Windows and the hypervisor server's environment.
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- 4+ years of experience working as a system administrator in a medium or large-scale environment is a must.
- Knowledge of computer software systems, including databases, office applications, cloud, and operating systems.
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer is a must.
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Good knowledge of VMware virtualization technology is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 and MS System Center is highly considered.
- High-level communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
