We are seeking a Director, Project Management, BL Hydrometallurgy to join our Minerals Organization. You will lead the Project Management team and ongoing project portfolio of the Hydrometallurgy business line. In this position, you will report to the Head of Delivery, VP, Hydrometallurgy.
This leadership position requires an experienced professional who can navigate the fast-paced landscape of different-sized delivery projects ensuring resourcing and successful delivery. In this role, you’ll be a member of the Hydrometallurgy BL Delivery management team.
HDR BL Delivery management team members contribute to BL’s profitable and sustainable growth through successful project management,
engineering, procurement, and delivery project portfolio management.
This position is mainly located in Espoo, Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Up to 25% of the work involves traveling.
What you’ll do
Lead a Project Management team consisting of Project Managers and Package Engineers
Responsible for resource management and competence development
Maintain and foster team well-being
Monitor, forecast, and report project performance and progress
Ensure compliance and support development of business processes, tools, and systems
Participate/lead projects’ steering groups
Support projects in successful implementation
Budget responsibility of own function
Collaborate with other business lines and other stakeholders
