Our client, a multinational company in the FMCG industry, seeks to recruit an Accountant.
Main responsibilities
Main responsibilities
- Conducts daily entries of expenses and purchases documents
- Maintains general and detailed ledgers, balances of supplier accounts, keeps a register of fixed assets and bank transactions
- Participates in the internal processes of General Ledger accounts reconciliation, formation of monthly results of the company
- Communicates with other departments of the company with the aim of improving existing procedures and implementing best practices
- Monitors suppliers for balance agreements and ensures payment process
- Supports and participates in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Participates in internal audit procedures
- Makes suggestions for improving accounting systems and operations
- Ensures proper accounting statements
- Manages bank accounts
- Implements and controls accounting procedures (General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Suppliers, Customers, Warehouses, Costing, My Data)
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Master’s degree will be considered an asset
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant in a well-organized accounts department
- Experience in the FMCG sector will be an asset
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Very good knowledge of SAP ERP
- Knowledge of the Warehouse - General Accounting Cycle and My Data
- Team spirit and collaboration
- Discretion, confidentiality and ability to build trusting relationships
- Very good time management skills and adherence to schedules and deadlines
