Main responsibilities
- Leads the development of the company’s short and long-term strategies, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term objectives
- Creates and implements strategies, in collaboration with the shareholders, to determine the direction the company will take
- Makes major corporate decisions and manages the overall operations and resources of the company
- Monitors how various departments operate and collaborates to achieve overall goals
- Ensures compliance with legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
- Maintains awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, and industry developments
- Collaborates with the CFO and Commercial Director to explore new markets and create plans to increase sales and profitability
- Evaluates the work of other executive leaders within the company
- Fosters a positive culture within the company, promoting high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Identifies and manages potential risks to the company’s business and operations
- BSc in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10-15 years of senior management experience within insurance industry
- Proven track record of successful leadership in the insurance industry
- Experience in strategic planning and execution, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong focus on achieving results and driving performance
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
