Overview
This a leading regional corporate bank with a strong presence in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced and experience Associate as a checker to provide Account Administration and Servicing duties.
Responsibilities

• Offer processing assistance and perform checker duties primarily for Account Administration and Servicing.
• Manage tasks related to opening and closing accounts, ensuring customer information is current in various systems.
• Support the supervisor with administrative activities such as statement management, charge collection, document filing and scanning, and account block/release.
• Provide backup support for deposit transactions, HKICL clearing items (DDA, FPS, etc.), and cheque processing for both inward and outward clearing.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects including system development, drill tests, UAT, and management reports concerning customer records and accounts.
• Mentor junior team members in account maintenance and servicing tasks.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary education with strong academic performance; Diploma or Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling customer account documentation, with at least 1 year in a checker role.
• Basic understanding of KYC, AML/CFT compliance regulations, and practices of the Companies Registry.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.
• Practical experience with PC applications.
