Data Analyst I

- Conduct big data analytics in the Data Studio, develop analytics systems and generate dashboards/visualisations to enable effective performance monitoring of railway systems and decision making
- Build, test and maintain the highly scalable data pipeline for acquiring data from multiple data sources
- Develop data models and pattern identification (i.e. predictive models and machine-learning algorithms) to address railways operations and maintenance problems
- Provide real-time analytics support to incident investigation and recovery
- Supervise and coordinate with stakeholders on data related projects
- Assist in building and deploying Cloud-based services
- Monitor and maintain the performance of servers, computer systems, define security and backup procedures
- Support to develop standards, policies and procedures for data management framework and supervise data stewardship and data quality
- Degree in Mathematics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in collecting, analyzing and interpreting Big Data to identify ways to improve business operations
- Certified Cloud professional is preferred
- Be self-driven and innovative with good data analytical skills
- Knowledge of railway industry and hands-on experience in Database program, Big Data technologies, Intelligence solutions are preferred
