The University now invites application for the following position:


Department of Art and Design – Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Full-time)
(Ref: Asso P/Asst P (AAD) 2024-08-30)
Responsibilities
The Department seeks an outstanding candidate for the planning, development, coordination and delivery of subjects specialise in Art and Design in either (i) history and theory, (ii) design methodology, (iii) new technology, or (iv) professional skills and knowledge. Appointee will also be expected to develop and teach new areas in Art and Design with major electives.


Applicants Should
Applicants should (i) possess a doctoral degree in Humanities and Social Science or disciplines / professional studies related to cultural and creative industries; (ii) have a high level of subject knowledge, practical and competence in the academic or professional discipline concerned, including rich knowledge in cultural and creative industries, etc.; (iii) have a successful track record of academic / professional experience in tertiary teaching / professional services / relevant industry experience; and (iv) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Priority of appointment will be given to Associate Professor applicant.
