The appointee will be required to (i) coordinate with internal and external parties to provide administrative support to the Court, Council and Senate Secretariat (CCSS); (ii) support the scheduling, logistical arrangements and preparation of documents for meetings and functions supported by CCSS; (iii) assist supervisors in handling all matters related to the Court, the Council and/or the Senate; (iv) provide IT support to the daily operations of the CCSS including website management, electronic document sharing, and video conferencing; and (v) perform any other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Those with an associate degree and more relevant work experience will also be considered. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), as well as good knowledge of IT and software applications (including MS Office, Zoom and software for meetings and document management). The ideal candidate should be highly flexible and adaptive to change, able to multitask and have impeccable attention to detail. The appointee should also be able to work independently and under pressure within tight deadlines. Solid experience in handling committee work or corporate governance in the higher education sector would be a definite advantage. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
