Job Posting Details

The GREAT Smart Cities Institute is looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to fill the role of Project Officer to support the administration and outreach of the Institute. The appointee will have the key responsibilities in the following areas:
  • Manage various communication channels of the Institute including websites, Linked In and Instagram, and develop brand communications strategy to effectively engage stakeholders;
  • Conduct market research to uncover business opportunities and insights for the Institute and track effectiveness of outreach strategies;
  • Coordinate all kinds of events such as seminar, workshop, conference and visits; and
  • Assist in day-to-day operations such as procurement, reimbursement, meeting coordination, etc.
Applicant should have a bachelor’s degree preferably with 2-3 years of relevant working experience. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, attentive to details and a good team player with good interpersonal skills. The appointee should have a willingness to learn with a can-do attitude, and be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese. Experience in marketing and communications is an advantage. (Duration: 1 year)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
