Senior Building Engineer / Building Engineer - Cityplaza

We are currently looking for a talented Senior Building Engineer / Building Engineer to join our Technical Team in Hong Kong’s premier lifestyle hub - Cityplaza. It is the ultimate place to shop, dine, work, play and relax. Our Technical Team of specialised engineers and building surveyors are dedicated professionals who drive our sustainable practices forward, make cutting-edge enhancements to our buildings so Cityplaza is even more exceptional, and support our daily operations.
- Lead a team of assistant engineers, technical supervisors & technicians to conduct routine repair & maintenance tasks, administer maintenance contracts and oversee outsourced contractors' works
- Maintain efficient & effective operation, repair, maintenance, upgrades & improvements to specific building services installations & systems in specific buildings or areas
- Manage improvement/upgrade projects, fitting-outs & reinstatements, statutory licenses/certificates application/renewals, from planning stage, thru tender preparation/analysis/award, to work execution, T&C & completion
- Provide technical support to Portfolio team on specific building services matters, including energy saving & sustainability initiatives, major refurbishment or installation/system upgrade projects, fitting-out & reinstatements, green building & environmental certifications, etc.
- Responsible to review annual budgets, monitor expenditures and manage health & safety issues
- Handle sustainability-related initiatives, green building certifications, energy audits, etc.
- Degree holder or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 8 (for Senior Building Engineer) or 5 (for Building Engineer) years of experience in building services design, installation, or operation & maintenance
- Registered Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, corporate member of HKIE or equivalent preferable
- BEAM Pro, Grade C Registered Electrical Worker are advantages
- Experience in operation & maintenance in retail properties an asset
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Auto CAD
- Willing to attend emergency call outside normal office hour
