Senior Product Manager - Prime Brokerage

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to take full ownership of the strategy, development, and execution of our Prime Brokerage services, with a focus on institutional financial products and digital assets. This role is critical in driving the growth of our Prime Brokerage offering by enhancing liquidity solutions, post-funding mechanisms, and margin trading capabilities.The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can hit the ground running from Day 1, with deep expertise in financial services, particularly in Prime Brokerage and fintech. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for institutional clients, focusing on enhancing trading services and improving capital efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Prime Brokerage Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Develop and execute the product roadmap for Prime Brokerage services, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs, particularly in the digital asset and institutional finance sectors.
- Define product vision and strategy, focusing on delivering institutional trading services like post-fund trading, margin trading, and liquidity solutions.
Client-Centric Solutions:
- Lead the product development process to prioritize institutional client needs by offering solutions such as post-fund trading, margin trading facilities, and real-time liquidity.
- Gather feedback from institutional clients, including hedge funds and asset managers, to iterate and improve the Prime Brokerage platform, focusing on liquidity, risk management, and trading efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Lead and collaborate with engineering, legal, compliance, operations, and business development teams to deliver institutional-grade Prime Brokerage products.
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure that all Prime Brokerage products meet regulatory requirements across key markets.
Product Launch & Market Analysis:
- Drive the successful launch of new Prime Brokerage services, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Conduct market research to understand competitive trends, regulatory changes, and institutional client demands in Prime Brokerage and trading services.
Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Define, track, and measure KPIs for Prime Brokerage products, using data-driven insights to optimize margin trading, post-funding services, and other key features.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment that promotes innovation in Prime Brokerage services.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of product management experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets, with a strong focus on Prime Brokerage, margin trading, or institutional products.
Domain Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of institutional trading platforms and digital asset markets, including smart contracts and Prime Brokerage services.
- Strong understanding of post-fund trading, margin trading, and liquidity solutions for institutional clients.
Project Management:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage the end-to-end development and launch of complex financial products.
- Hands-on experience working closely with development teams to refine product requirements and ensure successful implementation.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze complex market data and client behavior to inform product development.
Quality Assurance:
- Experience in writing and managing test cases, and working collaboratively with QA teams to ensure product quality.
Communication & Leadership:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leading teams and fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and high performance.
Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Prime Brokerage services and digital assets, ensuring compliance across different jurisdictions.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Mandarin is highly desirable due to the nature of our client base.

Nice to Have:

Technical Understanding:
- Experience in blockchain development or a technical background is a strong plus, facilitating communication with engineering teams.
Traditional Finance Experience:
- A background in traditional financial products, particularly in Prime Brokerage or institutional trading, is beneficial for understanding how digital assets can innovate within the space.
