Term Lecturer (Airport Operations Management)

Major Duties:

(a)
To perform teaching duties, including preparation and delivery of programme materials, supervision of students’ projects and other academic activities;

(b)
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;

(c)
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;

(d)
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and

(e)
To participate in campus / departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, short courses and exhibitions, where necessary.


Requirements:

(a)
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;

(b)
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience;

(c)
Good presentation, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and

(d)
Good records of work experience in Airport Operations, or linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an added advantage.

(1)
Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment.

(2)
Applicant(s) with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.

(3)
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and/or outside campus.
