Currently we are looking for talented people for the role of:
Benefits Manager

Location: Budapest, Hungary
The Benefits Manager will be part of the Benefits team Europe.
This role will be required to work closely with HR, business managers and other key stakeholders to lead key benefits European projects and initiatives.

Your daily and weekly tasks will be as follows:

• Act as Benefit lead to deliver Cognizant benefits strategy across dedicated European markets

• Manage benefits programs and plans to ensure benefits competitiveness and cost effectiveness as well as employees engagement and talent retention

• Liaise with various members of the business and HR teams to manage the market review of various existing and new benefit programmes across the region to then design, recommend new, improved, negotiated, cost effective packages to align to business needs and legislation changes.

• Project manage the roll-out of a Total Rewards system in the dedicated markets.

• Be responsible for the design, development and roll-out of engaging benefits communication plan across the dedicated markets within the region.

• Lead the relationship and management of 3rd party suppliers/providers, ensuring effective SLAs are in place and a high level of service maintained according to the Company’s needs.

• Be the subject matter expert on all matters in relation to Company benefits and help answer and manage complex queries accordingly.

• Support benefit due diligence for various projects such as mergers & acquisitions, supporting key stakeholders to ensure full comparisons are made and any issues/risks are highlighted.

• Develop strong relationships with colleagues across HR and drive best practice initiatives into the business.

• Use experience and knowledge to develop timely and innovative solutions in response to business needs.

• Support the wider Benefits team on any benefit related project

We are looking for you if you:

• have University/ College degree

• have a minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role

• have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (+ any other European language is preferable)

• have ERP knowledge (Oracle, SAP etc.)

• have good knowledge and understanding of benefits provisions across Europe as well statutory / legal requirements

• have strong vendor management skills; managing contracts and collaboration with Procurement and Legal departments

• are independent and pay attention to details
