Content Maker

Dublin

FULL TIME

November 4, 2024

ARI is one of the largest and most significant players in the global travel retail industry. We own and manage duty free and duty paid retail outlets in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas. From pioneering beginnings when we opened the world’s first duty free shop in Shannon Airport in 1947, we now employ over 3,000 people worldwide and manage a turnover in excess of $1 billion. ARI’s head office is based in Dublin, Ireland and is a wholly owned subsidiary of daa plc.

We are seeking a dynamic Content Maker to join our global marketing team. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, proactive, and highly organised, with a passion for storytelling across multiple formats. With strong creative, copywriting, and content production skills, you will enhance the travel experience by engaging audiences with compelling and impactful content.

  • A minimum of 5 years in a social role
  • 2 years experience in a retail environment
  • Proven experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation, with a passion for storytelling and creative content production.
  • Proven experience of delivering exceptional brand campaigns for retail
  • Strong skills in photography, videography, and visual storytelling are essential.
  • Commitment to daa/ARI Values.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft both short-form and long-form content that captivates audiences.
  • Ability to analyse performance data.
  • Experience with all main social media platforms
  • Outgoing and creative, able to inspire and collaborate with teams across multiple locations.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and able to produce results-driven reports aligned with business objectives.

  • Develop, execute, and continually refine the global content strategy through innovative ideas, competitive insights, and audience engagement tactics.
  • Craft and implement a weekly content calendar that positions ARI stores as a standout brand across multiple locations, incorporating visual storytelling and multi-format content (images, GIFs, video, photography).
  • Conceptualise, design, and manage creative promotions and social campaigns, aligning them with ARI’s broader marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal teams and brand partners to gather and produce compelling, on-brand social content, while maintaining ARI's ‘joy on your way’ brand essence.
  • Bring content to life in multiple formats, demonstrating a strong eye for design, creativity, and storytelling. Photography and videography skills are essential to create visually engaging and story-driven content.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key partners, such as brands and airports, for collaborative online content.
  • Collaborate closely with local marketing teams to ensure products represented are appropriate within their stores, while continually enhancing the performance of locally tailored content to drive engagement and sales.
  • Collaborate with brand partners to gather and produce compelling, on-brand social content that reflects ARI's brand expression of ‘joy on your way’.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including the broader commercial and category teams, to ensure the accurate representation of partner brands, aligning with their messaging and objectives while maintaining ARI’s brand integrity.
  • Continuously monitor and measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimise performance and report on success against business goals.
  • This global role will require you to inform, educate, and inspire marketing and social media managers across various locations. While you won’t directly implement content in all regions, you will guide content strategy, share planned calendars, and provide expert advice, training, and support to ensure local success.

We're an airport industry leader with operations in four continents and over 3000 employees working together to ensure we deliver the best services for all our customers globally.
