The Planning and Analysis Manager role forms a critical part of the Amundi Ireland Finance team. We are looking for someone ambitious, with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills who will work well within the team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with experience in a planning and analysis environment.


Why this role is important to us

This role is a core member of the team, working closely with the Head of Finance, providing essential support of business strategy, managing and overseeing the daily operations of the local planning and analysis function, as well as being directly responsible for a team of 1-2 employees.

The role will be the key contact for the Paris Head Office Management Control team for all analysis and comments on actual results and forecast projections. The role also works with all other Amundi Global entities around any intercompany transactions and agreements for revenue and expenses.

What you will be responsible for


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Revenue and expense monitoring and relevant calculations associated with the various business lines – including Management Company, Investment Management, Distribution, Amundi Technology and any relevant intercompany transactions.

• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts including tracking versus budget/forecast for Amundi Ireland Ltd, Amundi Intermediation (Dublin branch) and any other Amundi 100% owned subsidiaries and branches managed out of the Amundi Ireland office.

• Annual budget and forecasting process both from a legal perspective and a business line operational view and developing a new robust repeatable process.

• Acting as the main contact for the Amundi Finance team in Paris for all planning, budgeting and forecasting issues and will operate within the instructions provided by the Global Management Control team based in Paris.

• Providing value add analysis in support of business strategy including profitability reporting, cost benefit analysis and any business finance modelling needs.
• Providing support to local functions in relation to any financial analysis including revenue/expense analysis and feasibility studies including extraordinary operations (i.e., set up on new business line, or new branch/subsidiary).

Process engineering and ad-hoc financial project lead in relation to the operation of the Local Finance function, as well as any additional tasks which may become relevant to the role.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Role would suit a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with significant relevant PQE
• Relevant work experience in a planning and analysis environment
• Experience within Asset Management environment an advantage

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office including use of macros/pivots where needed

• Experience in timely and accurate delivery of an end-to-end management reporting, budget and forecasting process
