OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Goods Outwards: The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for picking, packing and labelling goods going out to our branch network.
Goods Inwards: The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for unloading, labelling and putting deliveries into stock.
JOB SPECIFICATION

• Print and confirm daily orders, pick items, and dispatch as needed.
• Build pallets with orders for the branch network and label accordingly
• Hood and wrap pallets ensuring they are safe for loading and transport
• Correct reporting of damaged stock
• Housekeeping - Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Participate in stock take when required
• Adherence of all Health & Safety rules and procedures

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• A minimum of 6 months previous experience in same or similar role to include a high degree of manual handling
• Posses a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate customer focus
• Good Team Player
• Ability to use a computer (basic level)

Desirable

• Current forklift Licence
• Forklift experience
• Forklift licence
• Ride on power pallet truck experience
• Previous experience and/ or product knowledge from within the heating and plumbing industry
