Job Overview
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. Job overview of the Chassis Equipment and Transport Adaptation component design engineer is developing Chassis Equipment and Transport Adaptation system and components such as fuel supply system, urea supply system, exhaust system, Battery Box, tractor related equipment, and variety of brackets for chassis mounted components, as a part of UD Trucks Technology, utilizing experiences and knowhow owned by UD Trucks.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for overall development and maintenance work of Chassis equipment and transport adaptation system and components. The duties include design work, packaging and installation work, simulation, and documentation of the solution. As a product owner roll, this job requires strong communication and negotiation skill with stakeholder in UD / outside of UD including suppliers, to lead cross functional activities in the development work.

Since there are variety of systems and components in this technology area, you will have the opportunities to obtain experiences on multiple system and components accordingly. Training of CAD, Simulation tool, Documentation system will be offered.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor Science in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering background.
- Mechanical component development work experiences in Automotive industry. 3 years or more as guideline.
- Working experiences / ability in international environment. Or high motivation to work in international environment.
- Sufficient communication skills – Business level both in Japanese and English.
