Are you passionate about building relationships and driving sales? In this role, you will manage large existing accounts, acquire new customers, and conduct independent customer visits. Responsibilities include analysing the market, identifying potential opportunities, and formulating key objectives to drive revenue growth. As the Account Manager for the Italian region, you will be at the forefront of our ambitious goal to double turnover in the next five years. Despite our strong network in this area, there is still significant untapped potential and we need your expertise to step up our game. We expect our employees to be present at one of our offices in the Netherlands (Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Eindhoven or Nijmegen) at least 3 days a week. Working from abroad is not an option.

As an Account Manager for the Italian region, you will be part of a fun, dynamic team of 20 enthusiastic and international colleagues, working from our office in Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Nijmegen and Eindhoven and partially from home. Ready to embark on an exciting journey with us? Then apply now!
ABF is a strongly internationally-oriented trading company, with 14 million products in stock. Although the market we operate in is conservative, ABF as a company certainly is not. We are an e-commerce business with a strong IT focus. We have an in-house development team that improves our software daily, making us agile and independent. Only 6% of our customers are located in the Netherlands; the remaining customers are primarily in other European countries and are further fragmented worldwide

This is what you like to do as Account Manager for the Italian region:
- Taking full ownership of following up on inactive or abandoned quotes.
- Independently acquiring new customers to initiate growth.
- Compose and execute an acquisition plan for your regions.
- Maintaining and enhancing relationships with all key accounts across your region.
- Traveling a couple of times per year to visit our clients, managing your own travel schedules.
- Expanding your expertise in product knowledge and market development. Clearly communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
This is you:
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in sales as an independent Account Manager.
- You have a bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking and have finished a relevant commercial study.
- You are fluent in English (min. B2) and speak Italian at a native level (C1).
- You possess strong negotiation skills and a commercial mindset, which we value as much as working experience.
- You have an affinity with E-commerce and Business Intelligence
- You have a driver's license and the ability to travel abroad
- Technical product knowledge is not a requirement, but if you bring a relevant network, it’s great plus
- You thrive in a role where you can exercise a high degree of independence and decision-making.

What do we have to offer you?
- Salary, of course. Classification depends on work experience and education level, ranging from € 41.000 to € 61.500 gross per year based on a fulltime employment contract (incl. holiday allowance)
- In addition to the gross salary, a performance-dependent bonus of up to 6% of the annual salary.
- You will have the opportunity and tools to work partially from home, with a working-from-home allowance of €2,65 per day. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to work from abroad for one week per year, allowing you to spend time with your family while working during the day.

- 28 vacation days on a full-time basis if you promise to go on a holiday.
