In the position of Accounting Specialist, you will be part of the Record-to-Report team (7 FTE) and run the accounting and reporting activities of Exact including our acquired companies. Together with your colleagues from other departments like Financial Control, Payroll and VAT, you are responsible for accurate financials with regards to Profit and Loss statements and the balance sheet. You prepare balance sheet analyses and assist with month-end close activities.

- Perform monthly accounting tasks related to the month-end close process.
- Ensure compliance, quality of financial data, accurate and timely monthly reporting.
- Prepare balance sheet analysis and discuss the month results and deviations.
- Develop and improve internal policies and procedures and participate in improvement projects.
- You work with internal stakeholders in and outside the finance community.
- You prepare and review evidence for Internal and Annual audit requests and you provide evidence to Auditors and explain variances in evidence.

For this role we are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in business economics, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline in combination. You could be a graduate or having up to 2 years of relevant working experience. Next to this:

- Knowledge on leading accounting principles (IFRS).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Analytical skills, flexible attitude, pro-active and strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain internal relationships.
- Skilled in Excel and have an interest in data analysis and new data tooling, familiarity with Power BI
