Within our Reporting Services team, in Rotterdam, we make sure that the reporting needs of our clients (external as well as internal) are met. We help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports and visuals. In order to do so, we mainly use various applications, sourcing data from our modern data platform. At the moment we are searching for a Business Intelligence Specialist for Business Insights sub-team . Position & Requirements

Position:

You will become part of a self-organized team with a product owner and developers who use an Agile way of working.

As a Business Intelligence Specialist you are expected to support the organization, by answering requests of the various Robeco department’s that the team works with, by implementing new functionalities, features and optimizing processes. You will have a central role in collecting the necessary input and you will be responsible to coordinate and align with the team and stakeholders.

You role will be to ensure the future growth of the platform, to create dataflows, monitor and implement the platform updates useful for the organization and arrange access to workspaces based on AD-Groups. Furthermore, you are an independent professional able to execute projects and to prioritize work in collaboration with the product owner.

Your main focus will be on Qlik Sense Saa S but you will also have to learn other tools essential to the dataflows with the organization such as DBT, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Become a partner of our stakeholders in order to facilitate in all requirements
Create and validate new reports
Supporting the implementation of new reports and dashboards by building them yourself as well as testing those that others have built.
Facilitating the communication with our customers and stakeholders by setting up documentation as well as presenting during meetings
Providing support to our (internal) clients in case of questions and/or issues
Monitor the BI environment. Keep an eye on the newest update, to constantly improve.
Make sure governance rules are followed in the BI environment.

Candidate profile

You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar higher degree
Programming knowledge (preferably in Qlik Sense Saa S or SQL)
3-7 years working experience in a dynamic environment;
You are pro-active, a creative thinker and a flexible team player;
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and correct data issues and omissions;
Experience in Agile or Scrum working environment;
You have technical and analytical skills that allow for the development and optimization of data-driven reports;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
Critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions;
You feel free to ask questions and express your opinion to challenge your colleagues;
Comfortable with working under tight deadlines;
You have a big appetite to learn and improve your technical skillset.
