They provide users with a crypto debit card, enabling seamless spending of cryptocurrency worldwide.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic CEO based in the Netherlands to lead their operations and expansion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payment company, public presence, and significant leadership experience. This role requires a forward-thinking individual capable of building the business from the ground up, creating a recognizable brand, and driving the company’s strategic vision in the rapidly evolving fintech and cryptocurrency sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and scale the business from scratch, developing it into a leading name in the crypto banking space.
- Lead the creation of the brand, ensuring strong market positioning and recognition.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team across various functions.
- Establish and optimize business processes and operations for efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee all operational activities, ensuring smooth execution across departments.
- Manage company budgets and resources, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements in all operational jurisdictions.
- Engage with stakeholders, including clients, investors, and regulators, to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and vision.
- Extensive leadership experience in the payments or fintech industry.
- Proven track record of building and scaling businesses, preferably in fintech, neobanking, or cryptocurrency.
- Strong understanding of financial services, payments, and crypto-related technologies.
- Experience with global markets and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with experience in representing companies publicly.
- Knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape, including blockchain technology and digital payments.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Based in the Netherlands.
