ACCIONA, in its Industrial Business Line, needs to incorporate a Civil Engineer for the TENNET Projects located in the Netherlands.

Mission:
Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her business unit/department, in keeping with the instructions given by his/her Lead Engineer, so that his/her work will enhance both decision-making processes and processes involving the engineering drafting.
They are responsible for the drawing up or review of public works projects, industrial and building projects. The projects may be for external clients or for the company itself. In the phase of bid drafting, they collaborate to draw up the Tender Projects, and in the execution phase they do the technical support in the Construction Projects.
To attend the engineering coordination meetings and participate in the required reports and official communications to the clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and others.
Support the procurement department in the selection of material to be used in the execution
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs.
- Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors.
- Compiling job specifications and participating in tendering procedures.
- Resolving design and development problems.
- Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
- Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
- Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and engineers, subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients.
- Adopt all relevant requirements around issues such as building permits, environmental regulations, sanitary design, good manufacturing practices and safety on all work assignments.
- Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Participate in the required reports.
Requisitos del candidato
Required Skills And Competencies
Degrees-Certificates/Training: University degree: Civil Engineering.
Further training: Additional training on Transmission & Distribution construction projects.
Profile: Skills according to the role
Languages/Level: English/Advanced
Years/Areas of experience: 4 years in similar posts.
