Role Description
The role we seek is a consultative lead who is comfortable overseeing the broad solution and acting in tandem with the project manager for a data transformation project related to a business reorganisation. The person will have strong support from our key SLO functional architect and Project Management lead – both of whom know the partner & client; as we completed a project for them over the previous two years.
The project is a transformation project where we are the SLO data & transformation part for a major UK partner. We provide software and a transformation team who bring technical, software and functional skills together as a techno-functional group to use our software & professional skills to build a transformation solution that will aid the client in transforming their Enterprise Structure (and sales network).
The work will include taking functional & technical requirements and building out a data strategy that will include data extensions (master data), data cloning, data reallocation and financial data postings/transfer that all support the business transformation requirement.
Our partner are accountable for the requirements gathering and functional programme of work ; but EPI-USE Labs are accountable for the data transformation finalised design & execution.
Solution Software To Be Used
The project is a PRISM transformation project expecting to use these solutions.
§ DSM LT – Data Transform (for core transformations)
§ DSM LT – Client Sync (for backup and possibly for data copies or project systems management)
§ DSM LT – Object Sync (if usage found
§ LSMW – Expectation is financial volumes are low and that standard LSMW will be used for FI transfers (Posting Engine not planned currently)
§ SAP Asset Migration standards – standard SAP transactions used as basis for any Asset mirgation solution defined
Role Skillset - Requirements
§ SAP Landscape Management knowledge (Systems, Clients, Transport systems)
§ SAP Functional Appreciation (Ability to understand functional areas and take/challenge requirements with the PM & team to build the solution)
§ Consultative mindset – this is a challenging partner and client – a calm confident consultative mindset will help
Role Skillset - Desirable
§ Strong knowledge of Data Sync Manager (DSM)
§ Some SAP Technical competency
§ SAP Functional knowledge – ideall with some spread across FICO, SD, MM and Plant Maintenance – or a mix of those – breadth and solution thinking is better than depth in one
§ Asset Migration experience
§ LSMW Experience
§ Solution design experience across a variety of SAP projects
Role Logistics – Timezone, Location, Travel, Language
The client is based in Saudi Arabia, but our partner are based in the UK. The project will be 90-95% remote. There may be the following needs:
§ Possible limited ad-hoc travel to The Netherlands, London UK or Dubai
§ Dress Rehearsal and Go-live support in early Spring 2025 may be required on site – likely in The Netherlands
§ Weekend work will be required for dress rehearsal and go-live
§ Hours may vary as we support a global business though core hours will be focused normally on UK timezone
English is the project language – fluency in Arabic, Chinese or Dutch would be a bonus
