About the role
As a Customer Service Representative in AAK's Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient service for our valued clients. Your primary responsibilities will include managing customer interactions, data entry, and accurate information capture to support our high standards of service excellence. You will handle multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Through effective communication, you’ll address customer needs and contribute to the problem management process, always aiming to produce outstanding results. While a thorough understanding of our customer base will be provided through training, you should have a solid working knowledge in data entry, managing priorities, and delivering quality customer service. This role requires a commitment to maintaining service excellence and supporting our team in delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers.

About the role
As a Customer Service Representative in AAK's Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient service for our valued clients. Your primary responsibilities will include managing customer interactions, data entry, and accurate information capture to support our high standards of service excellence. You will handle multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. While a thorough understanding of our customer base will be provided through training, you should have a solid working knowledge in data entry, managing priorities, and delivering quality customer service. This role requires a commitment to maintaining service excellence and supporting our team in delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders
- Monitor stock levels to confirm orders can be fulfilled on time and in full
- Manage a dedicated customer portfolio, providing top-tier service by promptly addressing all customer inquiries
- Resolve master data discrepancies to maintain data accuracy and consistency
- Proactively communicate any sales order delays to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination
- Identify unusual demand patterns and adhere to strict demand control protocols
- Maintain oversight and control of open orders to support efficient order flow
About you
- 2–4 years of experience in customer service in a similar role
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written); fluency in Dutch is a plus, and additional languages are an asset
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in the order-to-cash process, including order entry, debit/credit notes, complaint resolution, and delivery follow-up
- Skilled in direct customer communication via email and phone with a strong customer-centric focus
- Experience with export document handling is advantageous
- Knowledge of logistics processes and portals such as Transporeon and ONEtobe ONE is a plus
- This full-time role requires a multitasker who is stress-resilient, accountable, energetic, positive, and a strong team player
