Currently we are looking for a Data Steward within our Data, Analytics and Reporting Team for our Finance department.

As our Data Steward, you will hold a pivotal role in governance and management of data that powers financial analytics. In this role you are responsible for the data management capabilities in our department, and you ensure the adoption of data management practices across our finance organization. Hence, you will play a crucial role in realizing our data and analytics ambitions.

As a Data Steward, you will play a vital role in ensuring the implementation of data governance elements to propel our business unit's strategy forward. Your dedication to maintaining data quality and aligning with business rules will be instrumental in our success on a global scale.

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks, including the key role in implementing data management software within the finance domain, and developing key data products such as business glossary, data dictionary, and data lineage.

You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining data quality rules of the finance domain. Furthermore, you will collaborate with fellow data stewards across various business functions and the global data management team to manage and maintain master data.

In this role, you will join the Data, Analytics & Reporting (DAR) Team of Finance, working collaboratively within an agile environment alongside your peers from the Central Smart Data Platform Team as well as with the analytics teams of other functions. Within Enza we also have a DAR Team for Marketing and Sales and for our Seed Operations department. This cooperative effort aims to cultivate a culture of knowledge-sharing all while ensuring seamless alignment of best-practices.

To meet the job requirements, you need to:

Have a minimum of 3 years relevant data management experience, preferably in the domain of finance

Proven ability to work with senior management, business, and technical stakeholders

Embrace a team-focused approach, cherishing collaborative approach with your peers

Effectively engage with stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable data management tasks

Basic understanding of data modelling

Experience with Informatica or similar data management software. We will start with the implementation of Informatica in April 2025.

Acquaintance with SQL and Power BI

Be proficient in written and verbal English and preferably also in Dutch.

Residing in the Netherlands. Working from home is possible, but we expect you to work at Enza Zaden office in Enkhuizen for at least two days per week.
